The Ladies of Distinction Girls Mentoring Program trains girls to become distinctive ladies by educating them in four areas: mentoring, management, marketing and role modeling. After participating in creative group projects, challenging individual assignments, and intriguing guest speakers, girls practice the skills they have learned in culminating projects such as, elementary school visits, girls conferences and workshops, health and wellness projects, newsletter and website design, blogs and vlogs, presentations, and fashion shows. Students are evaluated on their performance in, project assignments, coaching sessions, and practicum experiences. Ladies have the opportunity to win Distinctive Lady Awards, internships, and scholarships. Enthusiasm, integrity and commitment are the values we model and encourage everyday providing an opportunity for our young ladies to impact and touch the world around them.
